* The brain is an organ but the mind isn’t.

* The brain is the physical place where the mind resides.

* The mind is the manifestation of thought, perception, emotion, determination, memory and imagination that takes place within the brain. Mind is often used to refer especially to the thought processes of reason.

* The mind receives; the body does what the mind dictates. The mind’s power to respond from these external receptors is extraordinary that many people disregard it as being the authority. A master that cannot be ruled by anything or anyone else even by its own physical body.

* The mind is considered more powerful than the five senses of the body and therefore is considered to dictate for the body.

* The brain and body are connected through neural pathways made up of neurotransmitters, hormones and chemicals. These pathways transmit signals between the body and the brain to control our everyday functions, from breathing, digestion and pain sensations to movement, thinking and feeling.

* Traditionally, scientists have tried to define the mind as the product of brain activity: The brain is the physical substance, and the mind is the conscious product of those firing neurons, according to the classic argument. But growing evidence shows that the mind goes far beyond the physical workings of your brain.

Are you aware of what is actually going on up there? Who is in charge? Are you?
